Who lives in a house like this?

The White House Hotel is, or was, an everyday tenement block — the kind of solid, unpretentious building that anchors a street without drawing attention to itself. Functional. Familiar. Utterly ordinary.

Our process had other ideas. What it has returned looks less like an architectural photograph and more like a page torn from a child's colouring book — one in which the child had access to every crayon in the box and absolutely no intention of staying within the lines. The outlines are bold and confident. The colours are joyful, uninhibited, and have no particular interest in realism. The building glows with a warmth and exuberance it almost certainly never possessed in real life.

You half expect the Muppets to lean out of the windows.

Each work is the result of many recurrent iterations — a slow, cumulative process in which the algorithm repeatedly returns to the same surface pattern, strengthening and migrating it across the image until the original subject fractures and gives way to the metallic sheens, stained glass luminosity and calligraphic forms that define these prints. This is not a single-step filter. It is a process of gradual transformation, and the outcome of each iteration is never fully predictable.
